Partner
Clinics, hospitals, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and diabetes educators who can receive referrals and share training.
Faith institutions, schools, market associations, women’s groups, youth groups, and local NGOs.
Market women, produce vendors, small food businesses, and cooperatives who can redeem nutrition vouchers.
Device and pharmaceutical companies, banks, telecoms, employers, and wellness brands offering in-kind supplies or sponsorship.
Universities and public health researchers who can strengthen evaluation and learning.
Ministries of health, public health agencies, and local authorities ready to integrate prevention into primary care.
Leadership
The first board should be small enough to be active and diverse enough to cover public health, nutrition, finance, law, fundraising, West Africa experience, corporate partnerships, and communications.
Board members help open doors, review strategy, support fundraising, protect mission focus, and ensure responsible growth. A founding advisory council is also open to technical experts who can contribute without full board duties.
Walk for Life
Walk for Life will be an annual awareness and fundraising event. It promotes physical activity, raises public understanding of prevention, attracts corporate sponsors, and gives the organization a visible community identity.
The event launches during the Nigeria pilot and can expand to Ghana and future countries over time.
